HOBBIES

Watching movies whether it be on the sofa or in the theater is one of our favorite hobbies. Some of the movies we enjoy watching are the Lord of the rings, Star Wars, A Walk in the Clouds, and Indian Jones, to name a few. The TV show "Lost" which follows the lives of various individuals and groups of people, most importantly the survivors of the crash of a commercial passenger jet flying between Sydney and Los Angeles, on a mysterious tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific, is an incredibly addictive series that at times left us lost - still a must watch. The Vancouver sporting events that we usually attend take place at BC Place stadium or at General Montors place, now Rogers Arena. Our favourite NHL team is the Vancouver Canucks while Liliana is still partial to the Dallas Stars, being the first team she watched live at American Airlines Center. Our favorite football teams are the BC Lions in the CFL and in the NFL Alex is loyal to the Cleveland Browns while Liliana roots for the Dallas Cowboys. We hope to attend a Vancouver Whitecaps game in the near future.BC Place is currently under renovations to remove the roof and install a new retractable one and should be done for the 2011 Grey Cup and the first season of the MLS expansion Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Vancouver has a lot to offer when it comes to outdoor activities. Some of our favorites include walks around the sea wall at Stanley Park, hiking and fishing at Buntzen Lake, and walks along Kits Beach. See Photos
